  1. I done my Freelander yesterday,not a bad job to do,changed the air filter when i was on.i put the new seals supplied with the crankcase filter on too-had to put a notch in the new filter to fit, and give the unit a wipe out,the old filter was quite black--so a good job done and now i can forget about changing another filter.--- ---Dave

    Hello to everybody on this site. I have a Freelander 1/55plate and have just had it serviced and MOT'd,told it needed OSF track rod end,thought the guy at the dealership had said £36+vat,turns out its £136+vat.managed to get £50 off and he said that was the price as all 4 wheels had to be retracked?-is that right!never heard of that before,is this a freelander issue.Won't be using this dealership again i can tell you.Many thanks and i hope i get some good advice from this site---Cheers
