    hi just bought another defender 110 1994 and on inspection i noticed that it has got double rear coil springs is that normal as i have not seen any reference to double springs on the forums cheers brian

    hi does anybody know if i can get a replacement front hockey stick mounting that welds on to the chassis and also a door pillar repair panel for the bulkhead if so is there part numbers and a supplier thanks in advance brian

    hi check your earth lead from engine to chassis as mine did the same after i swapped my engine

    hi all you need is a 240v to 110v transformer box an a 12v to 240v inverter hope this helps brian

    hi i have just done my 110 from a td with lt77 to a 300 with a r380 and the x member needs to be re drilled hope this helps

    mine was down to the panhard rod bushes at 45 mph it felt like the wheels where falling off it was farty pants time the first time it did it some 1 had fitted carp bushes you should listen to western hes a gold mine of good info

    hi if it is used for trade /business then it needs a tacho but if it is own use private then you dont need 1 hope this helps

    hi i have just swapped mine last week and i found it easier to swap the drop arms as the flat 1 was too close to the other steering bars hope this helps brian

    hi it sounds like your shockers to me are they wet with oil i had the same problem with my defender it had a snapped shocker mounting hope this helps brian

    hi why not buy a swingaway spare wheel carrier for your weight issue and remove the studs and relocate them brian

    hi i have just done my 89 110 from td to 300 tdi and the main thing to do is swap the engine mounts off the chassis of the donor on to yours are you swappin the box aswell or just the engine regards brian
