  10. hi something i am interested in really and want more info i currently own a 200 1.8 freelander which i know wont last for ever and have previously owned a 1990 disco. i have seen pis on net of freelanders with axles so only can persume that they have mounted FL body on disco chassis as wheel base is only 1/2" difference maybe i'm wrong but sure someone will tell me i'm looking for some links or anything to build diry or something about this conversion. I'm planning on getting rid of my kit car early this year so might look out for a chassis and prep it fos a FL body keith
  11. Does look like these tyres should fit, but i have sound a lokal khumo dealer that has been kind enough to try some for me, just need to book a day of work to go up and see what we can get to fit. It does look like we would be both easier to get 16" rims as from searching through previouse posts largest tyres that fit them are 225/75-16 but will require a 2" lift to avoid scrubbing under load Eather that or re locate body on to a disco chassis! ;-) keith
  12. hi there i have a freelander MK1 year 2000 with a cd head unit, i cannot figure out how to remove it nor find any referance to removal keys on the net. There are 2 small flaps at each side that reveal where the removal key will fit thanks keith
