0.6 sheet is too thin you need more like 1.0mm or 1.2mm unless you are a very good welder all you will do is blow holes in the metal

could also be cambelt jumped a couple of tooth that will cause the rocker shaft to brake bend pushrods and brake adjusters etc

er have we tried the glow plugs whiteish greyish is unburnt fuel are the glow plugs working take them out try them on a battery with jump leads then try them on glowplug harness holding them to earth to see if working with the glow plug relay

what about the nitrile gloves that snap on sells for keeping teckiss pandys clean you need the big red long sleve ones i used to use in the cleaning tanks at MOD no idea of make but stiff red rubber worked ok in heated carbon tech

well not opening a can of worms but if D1 had reflectors in the light clusters why did landrover fit them on the bumper end caps as well as far as know there are no reflectors fitted in D1 light clusters and if i tested it it would fail as having none

should be ok but it's at testers discretion if it looks like the seats could be refitted they could refuse to test or still fail it as you might refit them i think the seat belt mounting have to be welded over so they can't be used ask a testing station they should be able to confirm it better still fill the back with a plywood frame so it look perminant

that bumper also makes your disco illegal and a mot fail you will need some stick on red reflectors and that certain co should supply them ?? all good fun
