  1. Having run 3.5,3.9 and 4.2, all on LPG, and never had any problems with any of them, I'd give my vote to the 4.2, with oil changes at most every 5000 miles, and a constant eye on the temperature guage! Perhaps I've just been lucky, but in twenty odd years, and inter-galactic mileage, I've not had an engine fail yet! Should it ever happen though, Stuart will fix it!
  2. There's only one man for this job - Stuart at Armson! He's based near Leicester, but travels anywhere in the UK. He appears to have forgotten more about eas than most others know! Google ArmsonAE, or ring him on 07977051769
  3. pete, I'd say you weren't far out at 10mpg. My 4.2 does only around 2miles per litre in town, and a high of 3,5 pre litre on journey work, and can be as low as 8/9 when towing. When we were in France with the caravan last year, I got 3.5 per litre towing, but I put this down to the long straight roads and the lack of traffic.
  4. I've just got back from a few days break in my caravan, and the first email I opened was from this forum, telling me how much I was missed! Ain't that sweet? Well, look out. cos I'm back!!!!
