Remote door lock problem. 1995 300TDi 3 door Discovery... Hi all, I have a problem with my drivers door lock. The key remote operates both lock and unlock. But, when I 'unlock' I have to put the key in the lock afterwards to just turn that fraction more to open the door, otherwise I cant open it. Can anyone offer suggestions on whether this is a wear problem or a set up problem and what the likely repair required is? Also, is this a common fault on Discoverys? Any help will be appreciated, thank you. Michael

URGENT request for advice please. Thank you for reading. I have a 2.5 liter 300TDi engine in my 1996 Discovery. For some months it has been running really well with intermittent power loss, 'holding back' for brief periods and then OK again. It has never been a good starter! The problem seems to have worsened now with the engine stalling while going up short slopes/hills. This problem has become extremely regular. Can anyone offer advice as to what the most likely cause(s) may be please? My initial reaction is fuel starvation, only a guess. I have replaced the fuel filter. Any help will be much appreciated as I rely on the vehicle on a daily basis. Thank you in anticipation.

Poor Starting/Running I run a 1995 300TDi Discovery. I am having difficulty starting the engine from cold. It also lacks in power sometimes while driving. Other times it seems fine. I have a theory this could be an injector problem but have little diesel engine knowledge and therefore feel unsure about my theory. I do not suspect glow plugs regarding the starting issue because of the sometimes poor running when up to temperature. Can anyone offer advice please? As an aside, I also have a 200TDi Defender. Does anyone know weather the injectors and or glow plugs are interchangeable with the 300TDi engine? Many thanks in advance! Michael
