1. I'm not that good with electrics so I will not pass comment but the pump will only run for a few seconds then stop once the fuel rail get up to presure.
2. Hang on a clicking is the CV only on full lock, a knock when you go over bumps on the road is the wish bone ball joint which is a much easyer job and very very comon they all go. Speed bumps speed up their wear that just swap the arms over there about £80 ish off the top of my head..
3. His misses response just make the guy a true legend, also you so know that the hole idea can from too much time in the local pub with his mates. or even a bet,
4. They can bring whole new level of wining gearbox more so then any rover owner has ever experienced believe it or not.
5. That’s a bit strong it's a view from 45deg and its black with yellow swirls, if you wrapped up Katy Perry on a black and yellow blanket I would expect she would lose her wow factor
6. I can't see me getting two winches on the it and seven days of supplies in back of the TMC... the AS would be fun
7. Agreed there was nothing wrong with the cage MSA wise it fully complied but the car is nearly ten. The original cage is connected to some box steels under the floor which you can’t see in the pics. The majority of the MSA cages rely on the rear hoop but mine is far back in comparison with most.I can’t be bothered to get into the ins and outs of cages as I don’t know enough but you have always been competing with mouse etc. so you will only have known the international regs which is what the racer is now rated as and not the clubman etc. which is what it was. Hence why you can see I decided to up rate it.
8. All I need to do now is save my penny's for a FIA long range tank, harnesses ,seats ,hans & helmet then I'm ready to go
9. Wow great response The last one was poorly attended so I wasn't planning on making people book so please email me so I can keep track of numbers and we don't want too many people but I don't want to put anyone off. julian@rallyfreelander.com
10. Wow three times a question your realy keen

12. Me and Vik were only looking at a few CSK's the other day. Shame
13. As school we always cleaned the feild bell with Daddy HP sauce but that was brass or bronze (first or second WW jobby) I can't remember which. would a lacquer not help it stay shinny copper effect you need to stop the oxygen getting to the copper. Just found this copper lacquer
14. After racing out in Dubai and Abu-Dhabi at the beginning of the year and blasting round the desert in a FIA spec Range Rover Classic I was left feeling a little exposed in my racer when I got home so I had a quick chat with Dan up at PPC and he has updated my MSA spec cage to International. I managed to go and collect the car this weekend. This is what he did for me none of the original blue cage was removed only added to. All I need to do is spray up the new cage parts and install the fire bulkhead in a way to make the roof removable so it can be a summer toy as well as a racer I have to say I'm very happy with it, and Dan and his guys were very helpful and freindly on Sat when I collected the car.
15. A guy at work had his temp sensor switch go as well he just complaned about the fuel it was using. I noticed the black soot on his back door of his 1.8 , my racer did one as well.
16. If you can undo a bolt and do it back up you should manage this. I normally change all three bushs when they go. you may need to borrow a set of ramps if you don't have any to get the ars up in the air safely. Remove the bush bolts three on each and remeber the diff is heavy(its still connected to the prop and CV's but it will hurt you hand if you drop it), then refit the bush's one at a time don't tigten them back up untill all are fully inplace as if you do you will not get the last bush inplace, been there done that . I dont even take the wheels off when I change them. (the pics that Jon posted ois for the complete diff removel which is not ehat you need to do but its shows the bush's being removed.) Location 1 example location 2 example location 3 example This is what the knacked bush will look like. Thay may look the same but each bush is difrant It can be fiddly you only need to nudo the bushed don't remove anything else but its about an hours job with some decent spaners and a socket set and taking into account a cup of tea or two.
17. I must agree it was small but the wife and I realy enjoyed it, I bought loads of stuff I hadn't planned to, Plasma for the 110 and some other toys also the two bowler nemisis scalelectric cars I was the most chuffed with, but thats the big kid in me.
18. Hello Colin Fancy see you here. Julian
19. I was there with my Light weight that year its was very hot as I left the roof off all weekend I had the erbun camo one with the rather loud V8 and 1500w stereo yes I'm still that big kid. As normal I'm going this year I don't know what car I'm taking it may just be the rangy.
20. My dad always used to say half a right off is no use to man nore beast..... My boss is into BMW's and from what I can tell a P38 is cheap and relyable motor in comparison.... we managed to get the fixings out without welding new head on...so I don't need to weld to it yet....
21. I wish the 110 is awaiting its 4.2 to be installed so its off the road the P38 I bought a month ago has just farted and sort of sh*t it's self on my birthday on the way home from work so I can't go and collect the racer on saterday like I had planned and the 90 which is a mates who I havent see for seven months has just phone he will be back this weekend and is the 90 ok..... bugger
22. So who can make it. I'm in a white 90 as my 110 is off the road awaiting a heart transplant as I was suffering from need more power sindrom
23. Wow no responces to welding to a HSE P38
24. I'm having issues with a rear bumpers fixing heads having rotted off and I was going to weld a new bolt onto them. last time I disconnected the battery on a P38 I fried the high low stepper motor ecu. is there any recommendations I don't want to frie any more ECU's
