  1. I think you'll need the extended brake lines
  2. Many thanks for your replies BogMonster, looking at your signature it's actually exactly the same as yours!!
  3. As above really, I was taught the only reason to "flash" your lights to make other road users aware of your presence. Read into that what you will? As an HGV driver, I let longer vehicles know when they have passed me. I wonder what would happen if I flashed them in and they struck my wagon, I'm presuming it wouldn't be my fault Food for thought??
  4. I agree. I think nowadays councils are just taking the easy option, if in doubt close them. Obviously, it also saves them cash
  5. I saw a TVR Tuscan towing a caravan on the A303, what a waste of a lovely sports car?! By the way, do caravans/trailers need MOT's?
  6. The engine light has come up on the dash. My data reader says that the fault is one of the O2 sensors. My question is, do I need to fix that straight away (no spare cash at the moment!). If I leave it what damage may be caused? A mate said it's only really to do with emmissions so not to worry just yet?
  7. Yes, but try getting the military one, exactly the same (as are the lights) & a damn site cheaper that the dealers
  8. It depends really! If the pintle is, then in theory the trailer will "roll" and the towing vehivle will not, thats good. BUT, if it is in and not allowed to rotate, then the weight of the towing vehicle(if significantly higher)than the trailer could stop the trailer from rolling?! As the driver, you need to make a mini risk assessment each time you tow depending on load & terrain to be traversed. I hope that made sense, it did to me
