  1. What axles you running? Look very wide for Def and obese for series
  2. I have a Tmax split charger, with a bit of wire to bridge the + and trigger wire it will draw everything through the relay but it's rated 200A so should cope spinning the 200Tdi into life for a split second.
  3. Oooh look, back in the uk, and 25 mins up the road from home too! Guess I had better moesey on over
  4. The last time I did this it went OTT by a mile!!! 300 deep, 200 deep rough crush, that can be 4 inch to dust but then whacked down so end up at 150ish deep, terram/geotextile over then type one to level, it has never punched up, can't understand why?
  5. I am amazed at how poor spelling, grammar and punctuation is on there, but although I am not perfect, I am leaps and bounds above these boys ;-)
  6. https://m.facebook.com/groups/703875639700099?view=permalink&id=1000097480077912 Just gonna leave this here for FB users.
  7. Pull it out and replace with known good one or get yours rebuilt.
  8. Pull the looms back In through the floor and reconnect the indicators so long as bulbs don't touch anything it'll be fine.
  9. I would rather play the game by the rules, no point getting burned playing with fire!
  10. If at all possible, people like him who willingly deceive and con folk out of sheer greed should be shot, he has money enough and if he doesn't then he should look at his lifestyle to find economic solutions. Besides, you can bet before long he'll try and scam the wrong guy and get a gallon of petrol through his letterbox followed by a match. Not that I condone such behaviour, but sometimes lessons must be learned, the courts and lawyers are not exactly doing sterling work with helping mend his ways?
  11. You must be older than 30 to see the world with such tainted eyes I thought exactly the same though
  12. Also, be sure to get a proper Elring HG as the laminated steel ones just give you an oil leak at the front on the head when used.
  13. Blimey Jeffrey, you got away lightly this time lol
  14. New one then almost definitely, so many reconditioned boxes are little more than a £6.95 seal kit, to actually do them properly would cost the same as a new one!!!I sort of wished Adwest did remanufactured exchange, then for sure, latest seals, new components where needed and all new bearings.
  15. If its bottom shaft seal, whack a speedisleve on it and new seals, 31.75mm for interference fit, bit of pipe turned(this I know you can do ) to fit and you could knock it on in situ, worked well on 3 boxes I've done.
  16. For sure 110s would be different, 90s might be the same? Look for part numbers to cross reference.
  17. That's interesting, I thought they might throw a curve ball and do it on emissions out the exhaust on the test then calculate from there.
  18. Ask in Malta today, you will be surprised at how fast registration costs rise! Also, be aware of potential VAT implications, which small countries tend to levy against you to persuade you to buy local vehicles.
  19. What are the implications of taxation if you were to make a new build on a brand new chassis? I was looking at basic rate +CO2 but new taxation plans look sketchy!!!
  20. But this is where comments made by someone else somewhere else are valid. A 200Tdi/300Tdi is not by any means a modern engine, good at what it does but, if you want high power performance, reconsider your engine choice. If I hit 3000rpm it's short burst overtaking and off road will seldom see rpm over 2000 unless I am in a pickle.
  21. My aircon is manual, wind to the right to switch it on, wind to the left for off, it was a deluxe model with dual climate control as my passenger has one on their door too
  22. Wouldn't bother, get 10mm plate in stead and just slice the bottom off and plate it up. And of course, only if it bothers you that much? Although, why use the actual axle? You could just as well cut the flanges and suspension brackets off and weld them on to lengths of tube, you could easily widen the track 6 inches that way giving a bit more stability.
  23. Log trailer on air, set ride height at full load on schrader valve Thought fronts were 1500kg rear 2000kg.
  24. Exactly what do those links feed? I ask as I don't have them and wonder why they added them for 93my> 200Tdi and 300 got full upgraded box.
  25. New door, and a new rear Xmember and maybe refurbish the brakes an good to go, leave the dro arm ball joint, it adds character to the driving.
