  1. I know a guy who rebuilds lt95's in the uk still, I wouldnt suggest getting your shipped there and back but if you keep an eye on our ebay they go for peanuts. I just bought a working one for £20 and the lt95 should be a straight swap. have it shipped to him within the uk for a rebuild then out to you. you also then have all the spares in your other boxes should the **** hit the fan int he middle of nowhere. btw I admire your running a rrc in such a location. you should fit a p76 v8 too
  2. if no one has taken you up on it I would be very interested!
  3. bin the toothed restrictors, they were juet fitted so it wasnt as fast as other leyland saloon cars for sales reasons
  4. let us know , as I have to do this soon and its either that or dress the trans tunnel back a lot so it comes out with the gearbox unmoved lol
  5. Take the part number on to the LR direct site. I got mine from there for £24 and its a very nice allmakes PR2
  6. I would say they are the same up to about 85 when the 5 speed box was available. stick to 80 and below stuff to be safe but it all fits.

  11. took out the 72 rrc for a run in the country/light laning today.out of town all was well for the first bit then on the main A road I was up to about 50 and put it in overdrive , all was fine for a while and I was up to 60 the I heard a lot of clattering. I thought it was the new exhaust at first as stu couldnt get it to fit very well and it does rattle a bit on bumps, but it then stopped and all was quiet. Anyway about 10 miles later on another long A road I was again at about 50 or 60 , over drive on and the clattering was back , took it straight out and all was quiet so I assumed I had overdrive problem Just to throw you off though I carried on for about another 5 miles in 4th and got up to around 65 and it started again but I had not touched the overdrive this time. I pulled over looked underneath and all seemed normal. drove on a small side road through all the gears, all was well. went laning (gently) all was well drove home in 4th most of the way keeping below 55 and all was well. Got home and through right lets try to replicate it! took it for a thrash all gears fine and up to 60, then over drive in at 65 and it did it once only and wouldnt the other times overdrive on or off. I wont have a chance to get to this till next weekend now so I need all ideas please guys! its an Lt95 4 speed, obviously with overdrive. I did all the fluids when I rebuilt her and its done one all day laning trip no bother since and some local work but this is the first problem with the driveline. I know the overdives like to give there oil to the transfer box and this will be checked first next weekend. it seems all three boxes are quet and as they should be untill the clattering which is intermittant. sounds like your belt is wrapped round the propshaft and hitting the exhaust lol __________________
  12. Take the exhaust off your 2 door and then see
