  1. Was it a considerable difference after the installation? Was it worth it? M
  2. Hello I have a 2004 TD5 truck with no AirCon. I was thinking of installing OnBoard Air but all the info that I find is of installations in TDi's and V8 LR's. Is it possible to do the same on a TD5? Could one use the same pump and bracketry as used in Defenders with OEM AC installations? Thankfully for info, pictures or maybe links? Thank You M
  3. What I do every winter before it gets really cold, I lubricate the door locks and the door seals. For the door locks there is a spray you can buy. Use a lot of it on all door locks. In a Defender water tends to get trapped in the door seals and this causes the door to get stuck. "Brute force"(as you say in your signature Jason) could damage the seals or one could experience problems closing the doors. When you "land" in Norway for ex when you stop to purchase screen wash, you could ask personal on gas station what to buy for the door seals. I find that spray works best. There is also a bottle with a pad on top but its not that easy to make the lubricant enter the holes in the seals. Use a lot of this too. Turtle Wax has a lot of good products for winter preparation. You should also buy a plastic scrape to remove the is in the morning. Really warm gloves and a good brush with a long handle will also help you remove the snow from the truck. Example: For door locks: For door seals: For ice on windows: For ice on windows PLEASE DO NOT buy one like this they are USELESS: And for snow on truck this will work very well(but maybe not pink ) : I also allways carry one each of those in my truck:
  4. I was going to say that battery is extremely important. But arcticrover beat me to it. Make sure you charge it when you have the chance. Btw I think I saw that you have a dual system so you're quite safe if condition of both batteries is good. M
  5. Sorry for the HiJack but does anybody know how expensive it would be to convert a 110SW to a Crewcab? Not @ home but @a pro shop? Regards M

  9. Nothing wrong with genuine items except this: 1 Buy genuine here in Scandinavia equals VERY EXPENSIVE 2 Try to make a LR dealer in UK sending genuine items is very hard. They dont even bother replying my emails. 3 Ebay and other brittish web shops are very cheap and user friendly. If someone knows of a brittish web shop selling genuine LR parts and also sends to Europe please let me know. Regards M
  10. Sorry for jacking the thread but You say Medium Duty Shocks and Springs from Terrafirma. But when I asked, Terrafirma replyed that they only have springs with 2" of lift. I would really nead som help as my shocks are gone and the front springs have saged on my 2003 110. But I cant make my mind on what to go for. The only thing I decided on is that I dont want any lift or maybe a little..... Is it possible to get new Springs from TF without lift and who was Your supplyer please. Regards M
