Wll, after four months of ownership I have no regrets about changing the D2 for a Auto D3SE.
Well maybe one......I havnt been off road since I got rid of my D1
I have to come up with a plan and some dosh.
Anyone else upgrade?
Ey up our Kev,
I dont see a price yet. (Is it there and I just missread)
I understand your only testing the waters at the moment but do you have any idea on a likely price price please?
Hi All,
The plastic wheel arch mouldings on my 2001 White Gold D2 are starting to change colour where they meet the bodywork to the colour of the body. It's like the sun is starting to bleach them but it's too uniform to be a natural event caused by the sun.
Has anyone else had this problem please or does anyone have any ideas as to how I can treat the problem.
I realise that there are products like bumper black but so far I have not tried any product to change the colour back to white.
Hope someone can help.
I have the BT.
BT.Yahoo to be precise running through a BTVoyager 2100.
I get problems whenever I forget to turn off the router and leave it switched on with the computer switched off. When switching the compuyter on it doesnt find the connection so a re-boot of the whole thing takes place.
It is not very fast but speeds up a bit if I turn of the phising filter. I am sure there is an online test page but have yet to find it to check my BT speed.
There have been a number of occassions when I have had to ring Asif in Bangaladesh to get the voyager to work. He always assures me that the BTVoyager 2100w is the best damn router on the market. It is just sometime it doesnt work because of a build up of static electricity.
Switching everything off and pulling all the wires out is what he tells me to do and then to put the router in a safe place for ten minutes away from the computer.
To be fair, this does work. I'm not sure if he's taking the mickey but it works.
I'm not sure the BTVoyager 2100w is the best but what do I know
Nice motor,
ARe the prtoctors like the one's I used to have on my Granada and Capri, an edge protrctor that pushes on similar to a door seal but of harder more weather resistant material?
Which sound deadening are you going for, off road friendly on road use only?
look forward to seeing a picture as it gets "modded"
Yes, well done, I too like the DC, tangiers orange would have been nice
Never having owned or driven one, how long are they in reality, as long as a Discovery?
