I have a 57 plate Freelander 2, with 58k on the clock. I have noticed a red warning light which keeps coming on when I go around right hand bends, roundabouts and after I straighten up.
Looking in the book it appears to be the light for the Electronic Brake Assist, but its only ever on for a few seconds. I had a service carried out last week and the LR garage stated there were 2 recalls to carry out and that they had plugged it into the diagnostic and nothing out of the ordinary was found. Apparently the recall and software updates should have sorted the problem.... But alas no.
I have been back in touch with the garage who now want £88 + just to even look at the thing.
Does anyone have any ideas what this warning light could be (for certain). or has anyone experienced this before ??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
