  1. Just bought some 170s, halogen. Find the light quite yellow against the HID headlights. I see Lightforce do crystal blue lenses. Anyone used them, they apparently filter out some of the yellow and make then more like daylight. Also should I just get spot lenses or comby or one of each
  2. After some 6" spotlights. Lightforce look great but was wondering what I could get for £100 the pair? Anyone got any experience with Bushranger lights, KC Hilights or Hella?
  3. Have a FL2 with 235/65x17 tyres I am wanting some Cooper AT3 tyres and I can get either 235/65 or 235/70 and fancy the 70 as they will, to me, look better and fill the arches more. Both tyres are the same speed rating but the 70 profile has a higher load rating. At 70mph with the 70 profile I will be doing 72 Any thoughts as to which to get
  4. Does anyone know if the amp outputs are all the same ie outputting a full signal
  5. Well it seems the SE commands a much higher price. So the choice is high spec older, low spec newer http://www.countydirectcars.co.uk/used-cars/land-rover-freelander-2-2td4-gs-5dr-4wd-newcastle-upon-tyne-201411249192580 http://www.cliftoncarsales.co.uk/ - Half way down the page
  6. Well the first one did not work out as they did not want my car in part ex Have seen this one, more money but newer with less miles and very clean underneath http://www.countydirectcars.co.uk/used-cars/land-rover-freelander-2-2td4-gs-5dr-4wd-newcastle-upon-tyne-201411249192580
  7. Well the one from quicks fell thro, turned out the transfer box was buggered so they would not sell it. One of the reasons for looking at that one was the excellent part ex Never mind started looking again today. I only want to spend max £2k over the part ex price and these would come it at that: This one is looking favourit. Its an 08 model with 6 months RAC Warranty and I would only need to give £1500 plus my car: Land Rover Freelander 2.2 Td4 GS 5dr This one is £2100 plus my car: Land Rover Freelander 2.2 Td4 GS 5dr I think the first one is the better buy, what do you think? If I want SE or XS they are either more money or much higher mileage
  8. Couple of choices http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Freelander-2-2-2Td4-2007MY-XS-/261669147495?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cecb25367 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2007-Land-Rover-Freelander-2-2Td4-GS-5dr-4WD-/331390121130?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4d2863f4aa
  9. Fancy a Freelander 2 as my next vehicle. I am based in Newcastle and saw a company called Custombuilt who have about four at the mo but this seemed quite a good price so thought a god place to start looking. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Freelander-2-2-2Td4-GS/261687357032?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27676%26meid%3De863778523d54ab897d71b7b321e8a86%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D11379%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D121323023324&rt=nc I have about 9K, maybe could stretch to 10K for the right car. It seams the GS is the most popular. XS has more toys but I hate the blue half leather interior. HSE will be out me price range and probably not as hard wearing So I would like your view on the car about and some buying advice please
  10. I have a 98 Defender 90 with the std LR alarm system with the 2 button pipper. I would like to add central locking. Seen mention of a company called Hawk. They mentioned that to add one of their kits http://www.hawkcaralarm.com/HawkUniversal4DoorCentralLockingKit12v.aspx the existing alrm needs to have 2 negatives, open and closed. So can anyone advise if the std LR alarm has this and had anyone added central locking and if so was it the Hawk or another make?
