Hi
My name is Michael, and I'm from Denmark - so sorry about my weird English
I have a Range Rover Classic, with a new Turner Engineering 3.9 V8 installed. It has gasflowed performance heads, a H180 Sports torque camshaft, and stainless steel headers and 3" exchaust system - all brand new. It's a non-cat 1990, so in order to see whats happening I've put on an Innovate LC1 wideband lamba connected to a Innovate MTX-L gauge.
I couldnt quite get it running properly on the old 14CUX, so I took the plunge and went all in with a MS2 v3.57 - but as I'm not experienced in engine control systems, I thought it might be wise to get a "kit", so I bought a Rover V8 Plug-N-Play kit from Mr Ringwood, which uses all the exisiting wiring regarding injectors, Water temp, TPS etc. Afterwards I've read about Nigels excellent brackets and intake conversion bits, and he's been very helpful in sending them to Denmark.
It goes like stink (in a good way:), but after having read many of your interesting threads, I'm worried that my ignition map might be a bit too "enthustiastic" The map was supplied by Shaun/Phil - but as far as I can read from Nigels advice, its not wise to go beyond 34 degrees on 3.9 - please see below:
