  1. so they have a 'standard electronic' and an 'electronic high energy' version. Both seem to fit the 2.6 engine. Why would I pick the more expensive one?
  2. looks great, but this really is too complicated (and overkill) for my type of use I am more looking for a straightforward swap
  3. I need to replace the distributor on my 6 cilinder series 3. I'd like to go for one of these electronic types, but you can find them at like 70 £ all the way up to over 300 £. So, simple question: which one to go for? Any help would be appreciated!
  4. I have my eyes on a LWB with the 2L diesel. Have checked the documents, and it is a 1957 serie II. Collector's item?
  5. does anybody know if Landrover exported pre-production LHD series II to Europe in 1957?
  6. where do you get zinc rich primer for only £9 a litre (and what brand)?
  7. thanks. sounds like you need a secured area to do this job, so it will have to wait a bit... (unless someone in the Liverpool region would be so kind to give some space for 2 or 3 days...)
  8. I did a search, but couldn't find much info, will try again. Do you have to take out the engine?
  9. how much work is it to replace a bulkhead on a 110 HT? Do you need any special tools?
  10. downloaded this program (trial version) and it works! excellent, thanks!
  11. if you buy a car on ebay, you can buy one of these vehicule status reports. but can you also get these outside ebay, and is it worth doing?
  12. it's the 5940, basically the same as the 5935. Damn. Did you manage to solve the problem in the end?
  13. not sure where to ask this anyway, I've tried to install MM 5 on my PDA (hp ipaq travel companion with tomtom gps software). Works fine, but as soon as I try to connect MM to the GPS, Tomtom can't find sat's anymore, nor can MM. It seems like MM blocks the GPS port any ideas?
  14. it's Brugge, or Bruhhe as we say (sorry, but we are talking about the town where I was born and raised )
  15. be carefull with Greenlaning in Belgium, especially in the French speaking part I'll pb you the email address of a friend who almost certainly has all the OS maps, albeit for Ozi, but I guess it must be possible to convert them
