Hi All I am considering having a LPG conversion done to my 02 Discovery 2 V8 any body done it ? am I being silly thinking about it ? I realise it will cost in the region of 2 grand and will take about 20,000 miles to recoupe the cost but worried about it,s effect on my loverly 30,000 mile 4.0 V8 any good trustworthy dealers known to you all, all replys much appricated

Hi all can anybody tell me if is poss to change front out put bearing in transfer box on 93 200tdi defender in situ I seem to have a viberation that I thought was prop but tested it and its fine but noticed if you give the flange a shake when prop was off there is some play so I assume the bearing has worn thanks

Anybody fitted a bulkhead removal bar like safety devices / perfomance and protection one, Any pitfalls to watch for is it a sod of a job bought one at billing a couple of years ago (with no instructions) to fit to my 93 tdi and never got round to fitting it but now about to! any tips pics etc much appricated Thanks

Thanks will check motor and see if it has the extra wire It has never worked since i've had it but I have'nt used it in winter before so never worried about it shoud they self park they have'nt since I've had It

Hi can anybody help please My S3 lightweight wipers only work on second click of switch IE fast is it likely the switch has gone or motor or some relay? thanks also I was wondering if you can fit 750x16 tyres in place of the standard 600's on the orginal rims to raise the gearing as it seems to scream at 50 /60 even with overdrive in.

Hi all Ihave a Disco 2 V 8 does any one know why the small fan in front of rad (air con I think) seems to run all the time once engine has reached running temp air con off I would assume it must have a sensor some where that has gone is this poss? if so any idea where it is or do you think I have some other prob? thanks

Thanks all As les said I thought it would only whine when engaged but seems to be the same in or out It did'nt seem as bad before the clutch/gearbox swap, it was changed due to slip and no syncro on fourth gear The garage assure me the box is good

Thanks guys disco's same as bogmonsters has done 24000 miles so I hope it's going to be OK I do'nt really want to have to drain £50 worth for no reason

Help please i have 02 disco 2 4.0 v8 what oil should i have put in I thought I was useing the best (castrol magatec 5/30 synthtic) but have been told by mechanic friend V8s dont like synthic oil is this true or just myth thanks

Hi asked same questions as you last month ended up buying 2002 GS sounds like bogmonsters except has ace,we did'nt want air springs and both me and wife hate electric seats she's 5'' and I'm 6'' after having it for 2 weeks was pleased with it I say was due to finding out it leaks (headlining full of water) so my advice to add to the excellent post from bogmonster is check the rooflining after the rain good luck i think they are potentally very nice

Hi all I went and did it disco2 on drive defender for sale was pleased for a week think it should do what i need it for but big problem help needed it leaks badly does anybody know of possable reasons/cures is this usual it seems to be from sun roof but hard to tell as roof lineing is full looks like it dosent like it's new life outside on drive was kept in garage before any idea's please
