I wish he would! Yes he/we did make a jig. We measured how much was to be cut out, then scribed it using a hight guage, then we crudly cut it out using a grinder. My mate then bolted it to his mill and made it flat. Bolted to the jig and welded up......easy!!

There is a guy called John in Ottons in Salisbury who amazes me...... Why? You need something he will quote you the number from the top of his head!!! That includes parts that are superseded!! Sometimes I test him and 99% of the time he gets it right! You can also quote him a number and he will tell you what part it is!! There must be Millions of numbers to remember...............most of which I have bought!
