Hi All, it's me again. A little assistance with a few electrical issues please. 1) Heated rear screen not working. The wires have been cut just inside the roof lining....why would someone do that. Seems very odd to me. 2) Reversing likes not working. Bulbs ok, so from what I have read the gearbox sensor seems like the obvious choice. However that seems very difficult to get at?? 3) Under bonnet light not working, bulb seems ok. Should this come on every time the bonnet is opened and is there a switch somewhere. Hi All All the dash board lights go out as they should on my 1991 Vogue SE with the exception of the Transmission Temp Light. This only goes out when I release the Hand Brake and never comes on during driving, although my longest journey to date is only about 20 miles. many thanks John

Many thanks for that. I have found a LR breakers yard in Mid Norfolk and he has a couple working sunroof motors. Am going up there Saturday morning to hopefully pick one up. I also have a LR Series 3 which is almost back on the road so should be a useful contact. Will take some photos soon and put them up on this forum. I have another problem with the HIgh temperature transmission light staying on until I release the Hand Brake but should probably start a new thread on that. Thanks again for the help. John

Hi All Picked up my RRC a couple of days ago. She's a 1991 Vogue SE in Plymouth Blue. All the rusty bits have done and all the electrics work with the exception on the Sunroof. The motor has been disconnected under the interior dome light but when you connect it the motor continuously operates whether you press the button or not. The same happens if you remove the switch all together. The sunroof itself does not move although it does with the manual key. Is this just the motor at fault or the control unit next to it? I guess it's possible both as I assume the gear on the end of the motor has lost it's teeth with all the continuous running.. I intend to replace the headlining soon so would be nice to fix both at the same time. Any help would be appreciated. Regards John

Hi All My wifes 2004 Diesel HSE FL1 has a couple of problems First is that the drivers rear window has ceased to go up or down. I've gleaned from here that this is a relatively simple problem to solve provinding I purchase a complete kit including regulator rather than just the wires. However how the heck do I remove the door panel?? Secondly the rear parking also don't operate. I can a continues tone for a few seconds when first starting engine, then nothing. I believe?? this indicates there is a problem and have done what I belive is the "click" test, i.e, feel sensor for vibration when in reverse. I feel nothing, does this mean they have all stopped working at the same time?... seems unlikely. Any help with resolving one or both would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance. John
