When the battery is left connected my 300tdi drains the battery in a couple of days. I disconnected the alternator and the drain drops from 0.34 to 0.02 amps. I replaced the alternator with a brand new one connected it all back up and the drain is back up to 0.34. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Battery is new and has only been in a few weeks. It went dead for the second time 7 days after being fully charged. No lights left on etc. How about a duff glow plug relay is that a possibility?

My 300tdi's battery runs flat if not used for a week or so. Any ideas as to what common problems may be causing this? Thanks in advance

I did think that could be a possibility, I am sure not all owners are aware of all service items. The big question is...........should I ditch the EGR anyway????

Hi Noticed alot of sludge in my intercooler pipe. The vehicle is a 300tdi disco and has not had the EGR removed. I am thinking the EGR valve is stuck open, what do you think?? Thanks

Show me a 300tdi with a full MOT for £600 and I will but it!!!

I paid £2k for an 96 300tdi disco last year but it's very tidy and had 11months MOT. Depends on who is look and as always what they are willing to pay. Post some pics.
