  1. What a difference, i'm driving a 300 GTtdi now lol. No more severe pulling to the left, better acceleration and i guess better mpg too. Happy days.
  2. Well i'm fitting my bearmach calipers on thursday, i'm also draining and replacing the fluid too. Will let you know how it gets on.
  3. Well my bearmach calipers arrived today. Might try and get them fitted before i go to turkey on thursday. Fingers crossed.
  4. Excellent, just what i needed to know. Thanks task.

  6. Been an ice installer for years, but never done a discovery. I ALWAYS install an inline fuse block near the battery but wouldn't use the fuse box, especially with a higher power amp. Thanks though.
  7. The land-rover-store on eBay do genuine front pairs for £65.15 + £3 p&p and genuine rear pair for £36.50 + £7.50 p&p Are these good prices. Don't seem bad to me, but i'm not doing this job straight away as i've lots to spend money on first.
  8. Hello again. I want to fit an amp and a small subwoofer to help improve the sounds in my 300TDi Are there any parts of the bulkhead that i canuse for routing the battery positive cable through. I thought it best to ask those in the know before delving in head first.
  9. Pity this wasn't a bit further north, i would love to go.
  10. Hi there, my 300 TDi has a small problem will the front and rear bumper corners. All but one have cable ties holding them on. How easy is it to get new replacements, how eaasy are they to change. Can i get new clips / brackets for them also ? They really spoil the look of my landie, so i think that replacing these and also sand blast and paint the metal bumpers as well would really help. I apologise for asking so many questions, but i am new to the world of discovery. John
  11. Thats what the lady on the phone told me "we only suplly rebuild kits for our own units" but anyhoo i think i might just go for the bearmach ones (not just to appease the other half), as UdderlyOffRoad says they come with a years warranty so if there are any problems, off they go. Just like to thank all involved for their help and info.
  12. Spoke to my mechanic who says that the caliper is shot. So needs to be replaced. And i never replace just one disc / set of pads / tyre on an axle, i always change a pair at the same time so i want to do the same for the calipers too. So my choice seems to be bearmach at £95 for a pair delivered or lockheed for £239.40 a pair plus delivery. Thats a massive difference in price. I always usually buy OEM parts if i can but the wife is doing her nut in just now with all my "toys". If anyone can find me lockheed ones for less than the price i was quoted by brookwell that would be great.
  13. I called Zeus but they don't do parts for land rover calipers, only rebuild kits for their own ones.
  14. How about this ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DISCOVERY-REAR-BUMPER-CORNER-BUMPERETTE-TRIM-CLIPS-mk-2-DYC10031L-/190683800767
