yes I'm going to plate it all in 6mm now and weld it and bolt it aswell.

these axles cause a lot of wrap , took mine out for first time today and it tore my 3rd link mount off the chassis, welds didn't fail it just tore a huge square of my chassis off lol , I'm going to really reinforce it all and try add a 4th link

198cm wms to wms but that is including the 100mm in total wheel adapters atb

using g wagon discs and front calipers all round. then I've got adapters to lr stud pattern atb

rear axle was easy but alot more work in the front as going 3 link with coilovers. I wish I had your shorter diffs they look great 👍

awesome work! I'm getting further with mine back axle is on and front axle going on next week, sitting on 44" boggers it's going to be big !

are you going to use air rams to engage your diff locks ?

depends on what size tyre and how much bhp and how heavy your foot is

there bolt on portal boxes are not a bad price tbh . yea pretty sure the portal axles work out near 20k , there's lots of videos on YouTube with trucks running there portal axles

these are not bolt on portal boxes. these are complete portal axles . they are based on dana 70 axles I believe

these axles will be good . pretty sure the warranty there portals for 46" tyres and high bhp

what are you doing with your front axle ? are just using it upside-down and putting another diff drain in or are you cutting and shutting the axle casing ? cheers

Jamie I've got you on my Facebook. my builds are the big green 130 with 44" boggers. and now building a set of 404 axles up for my 90 with 38.5 mud treps , the sumb axles were on my old d1 years ago , my back still hurts lol I've not been on this site for years

what a great build this is . if you ever start offering the diff shortening as a service I would definitely be interested. I've 2 mog axle builds on the go . and have done a sumb axle build before
