Bowie’s comment makes sense - I guess you’d just remove the one circlip and press the cup (where the grease come come out from) a little bit deeper to tighten it up?
If you want to do it that way use a socket smaller than the internal size of the circlip.

Odd, given the state of stuff in the US is that there's a big market and a lot of folks with the machinery etc. to make anything you want in any sort of performance you want
Yup, I think for home-grown stuff the quality is there, just normal run-of-the-mill standard parts that are really suffering. (Yes, I mean the stuff made in PRC)

Seems quite a few are turning to Buick 215 suppliers in the states, however they are suggesting that parts quality there is also suffering, especially around cams and lifters -but RV8s aren't the only affected ones, that goes for just about anything considered 'old' these days, so all the SBC/BBC, Ford etc are getting affected here.
Quite annoying, to say the least.

Yes it was occurring with the previous turbo, just not 'clearing' as easily. Poof happens quicker now!
To clarify again, by standard turbo I meant not a VGT, I can't see where you have said standard vs 'previous' turbo.

To clarify, and apologies if missed, have you experienced this with a standard turbo?

Having used both now, I think I much prefer the red.

I've had 5 difflock switches delivered and every single one of them was broken on arrival.

Quite possible the solenoid is not getting quite enough to fully disengage, has been mentioned a few times on this thread.
Could also just be sticky, and the increasing revs rattle it free, or the alternator getting up to charging voltage forcing it to move.

How have you adjusted the actuator?

I mean you are paying the agent by buying the house and them getting commission, it's not direct, but you are giving them money.

Are the valves sealing still?

What tools are people using that are meant for doing scale drawing? I didn't know PowerPoint was an option.
A scale rule and a piece of A4 paper.

I've used these successfully, and years on they are still good:
4FT 40W LED Batten Tube Light Ceiling Lights Flourescent Office Garage Workshop | eBay
They are sold by a LOT of people on ebay, so choose carefully, some price gouge, others sell them by the crate at a slight discount.
I have them in my workshop and home office.

Having seen the companies house record I wouldn't go anywhere near them:
Two threats of compulsory insolvency, very recent change of premises, and accounts late frequently.

Looks totally knackered to me, time to slot in a replacement.

So made my Behr for Ford Motor Co then, makes sense.
Part number produces hundreds of results on ebay for Ford, Volvo, Land rover, Evoque etc

According to the estate agent, that kind of thinking is communism.
So, no.
Given my brother and sister's experience in the last 12 months my opinion of estate agents is pretty low, but they are getting paid by you and want sales to happen, so I'd take every opportunity to lean on them.

Pull it and put it on a stand, you'd have much better access to everything then.

It looks like the whole thing has been for nothing though as the survey came back and was really ungood. Which is a shame but never mind.
That's a shame, very stressful trying to move. No chance of negotiations?
-
I tend to just cut out bits of paper drawn to scale, they move much faster then.
-
Con is parts availability, as I understand it there are bits inside the stage 1 axle that are more expensive/impossible or very hard to get.

I’m rambling.
Not really, a low voltage to the stop solenoid is quite plausible, especially if the vehicle was originally petrol with a ballast resistor.
