Ok iknow it has been a while but i have finally got time to sort this out operating the micro switch on the door lock by hand does nothing,if the fault is in the main control unit the drivers door or a faulty micro switch is it possible to check these components.or does anybody know of a link to a fix for this problem thanks

hi my 300 tdi discovery jap import central locking has died,the single button remote has not worked since i dropped it in water years ago.However it locked,unlocked ok with the key untill now,whenever you try the key the whole system is dead so far i have only tried the fuse which is ok any thoughts or ideas would be welcome thanks
