  1. If your timing belt had gone then you would hear alsorts of strange noises when you spin the engine over (piston clouting valves etc) i would say its more likely its slipped. but hard to tell if you were driving along with no faults is your lift pump lifting fuel? is the fuel solnoid opening? with bonnet up should be able to here it click when u turn the key to the point before starting is the engine turning over when u turn the key? i am resenable local (near hemel) and have the timing kit tools, but sadly i dont have a car at the moment if your not in a rush then i can help

  4. Hi a friend of mine wants to wire in some extra cigy lighter socket into his td5 as so my question is is there a ignition live in the battery box with the fuses if i find one do i need to place a relay between the ignition live to the new fuse board ? or is that just silly?
  5. my friend had ths problem with his and in the end we found the pulley that bolts to the IP (injection pump) was cracked accross it face and on idle was opening up and giving him white smoke, check there no cracks accross the face of the pulley
  6. why not just use a NAD or TD one saves all the pratting about
  7. no the seat base doesnt remove but if u mount them right u can pull the chair all the way forward to get to the seat box. if your handy with an angle grinder then no problems fitting the seats u just need to cut the feet off and get back to the seat runners
  8. i took the angle grinder to mine and the the down pipe off and nuts then just used mole grips to get the studs out of the turbo
  9. hers mine in matt black paintedusing a roller and a tin of international black board paint
  10. I fitted one of those grey plastic things to my mod 90 fitted ok witht he mod lighting panel will be interested to see pics of you mud dash fitted with the mod switch
  11. i used a td system on my 90 but i didnt buy the middle box but two intermiate pipes and shortened one and reweleded the flanges on sounds sweet now
