  1. Moi? I hope it ain't you being in stitches, Paul. Good luck with what it is & remember, Vasectomies really aren't that bad. Not unless you are an Italian with one's name being Spermatozza. Fridgie? Friggers, pleeeeaase.
  2. I just said it. I too, used to watch 'Minder', Les. Shirley that should be "flamin' Aussie"? B)
  3. Personally, I would have a good Auto Sparky check it out. He/she is in the best position to check & rectify problems on & off the vehicle. Besides, your LR Garage may probably send it out for repairs anyway.
  4. But that is just a bit different. That's out in broad daylight & distant, whereas the Forum hits one right between the eyeballs 60cm from one's boat. B) Black is not a favourite colour of mine at the best of times, & it may be a good Forum & the Admin a nice bloke, but I doubt I'll visit often.
  5. Cripes! Black & orange! Very '70s. A bit depressing I thought.
  6. Thanks Dave. So, not as exciting as these then? My Webpage Also, click on the Aviation Ghosts.
  7. Purely out of curiosity. What's the story on the 1/2 buried Station? Sounds intruiging.
  8. I did that a long time ago, Les, & just could not see the value in it for the cost. When postage/freight is added to get it to Oz it was quite expensive for a **** load of ads, for stuff you couldn't buy here anyway. I felt vindicated when I read the recent post by ??? on lre re how many pages of rubbish were in each copy. Something more than 50% + if I recall correctly of self aggrandisment & adverising. The articles for a long time have been repeats of repeats of repeats. We are not all into Xtreme stuff & they became quite boring. A very shortsighted attitude by by Mr. Verdigris imho, & one he will regret. Whether we ever hear about it is another thing. Anyone got shares in LRe? Cest la vie. Onwards & upwards now, without the manacles.
  9. That's a good one Paul. Quite comprehensive. .................... & for wannabee visitors to SA & The Flinders in general: My Webpage
  10. G'day Paul. Doesn't seem a lot on Sky Trek & I have never done it. Recent My Webpage My Webpage Have only been to the Flinders once. Loved it & want to go back again one day.
  11. Oh, I don't know. He has got 2 pieces of timber holding it up, so he can't be all that irresponsible.
  12. Of course, Ben. It should have been a Penguin.
  13. Yep Col. Looks like Oz's ploy is working ok.
  14. CQR ploughs were supposed to double up as a good ground anchor as well as sea holding I understand. Me Ancestor Capt. Henry Morgan told me that he did, shipmate.
  15. Hi Billy. Sorry for the delay as I have only just been able to log on here again. ????????? Depends what Photo Editing you are using but for Paint Shop Pro 7 it's : Image > Rezize > Pixels width. Insert, say 640 pixels wide. Tick "Maintain Aspect Ratio" OK. 640 pixels seems to be good compromise for those still on Dialup & being able to see details. Not every one is on Broadband & may not even have the possibility. Swops & scl to name but two. Also check out Stephen's post in the Discovery Forum for some good info. That's it really. Give it a whirl & see how you go. Example of 640 wide. Being VJ (Victory in Japan) Day here (they can call it VP Day if they like to make it easier on the Nips) I thought this image may be appropriate. Late Uncle's Lockheed Hudson aircraft, A16-67 over Darwin & in which he was shot down in the first couple of days of WW2. Age. 21. He was a Wireless Air Gunner. The mid upper turret has not been fitted yet in this image, & shows the fairing over the mount from it's ferry flight from the USA.
  16. But you can use a higher resol. 640 wide is a good compromise between available detail & downloading on Dialup. Needs a clean Billy.
  17. A final resizing to 640 pixels wide seems to be ok.
  18. Nor me, Jim. I only looked 'cos it arrived in the Southern Hemisphere a bit late-ish.
  19. Or very insecure & can't quite yet cut the Umbilical just in case it breaks out into "The All New, all singing, all dancing, LRe" & very sorry, but we didn't really mean to treat you like your Paternal Grandfather".
  20. Why would you want to maintain something that is dead already?
  21. It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings, M. Froot. " It's Not Over Until We Win How the tears of joy shall flow and our smiles will beam and glow. When those bad old foes we've fought for years finally fall from one last blow. So don't give up on hope to soon girl, before this day arrives Just heave a sigh and try to dry all these teardrops from your eyes, 'Cause there's still time for me and you. There's still love to see us through. There's still miles of road we've yet to travel and so much we still can do. So won't you choose now to lose these blues and remember this my friend, That it's not over girl, until we win. It's not over 'till our adversary's down for the count. It's not over till the last bell rings. It's not over 'till the crowd stands up to scream and shout, Until the big ol' friendly fat lady sings. And as far as I know there's a ways yet to go, So we might as well hang tough 'till the end 'Cause it's not over girl, until we win. No it's not over girl until we win. When ever I stop and think about the many times we faced impossible odds, When the hopelessness and despair felt so intense, That we didn't think we could hold out any longer. Yet time and again we were given the grace to overcome those odds, And the courage to keep fightin' the fight, Now what it proves to me is, we got angels watchin' over us. So if you can, just keep your hope alive for a little bit longer, And keep believing in the promise that the truth will one day set us free, Then there shall be a glorious future awaiting us girl. For I've read the end of the story, and it's not over until we win! Yeah"
  22. Thanks, Adam, nice images. That Khan Sahronim Way Station. It''ll never last you know, as it looks a bit Jerri-built from here.
