Hi firstly wish you all a healthy happy and prosperous new year, nipper has asked me to renew the antiroll bushes front and back on his td5 diesel, havent had anything to do with landys apart from head gasket (suprise suprise) on a freelander, are these straight forward or any tricks of the trade to speed the job up? I havent checked it out but local garage reckons need doing and want to charge £250..,personally I would be suprised if they all need changing ?is this common, thanks and regards.

Hi Help needed, lost the offside side/marker lights and at the same time dash illumination has also gone !! checked all obvious fuses none blown but somebody had put a 30a in place of 10a on sidelights,changed this for a ten, I have run out of time tonight but need to get that back light working as self employed and its my work vehicle,cannot afford to get pulled or put it in dealeship so your help would be appreciated. I had been towing a trailer and the light one side got broken and this seemed to trigger the problem,checked trailer fuse but that ok? is it a canbus system on these as I noticed there is no 7 way relay on the trailer connection. thanks for any help you can give me.regards

Had what sounds like a similar problem on a 1.8...........head gasket done,skimmed etc etc but runs lumpy on tickover ,hunting cut a long story short although it would rev and drive super tickover was sooting plugs and rubbish, double checked timing and although I had lined up two lines in centre of cam sprockets I hadnt lined them up with the outer marks,so in effect inlet was one tooth advanced and exhaust one retarded(a bit like I felt!) put it right and now runs sweet. Just make sure you got yours perfect before you throw more money at it ! I have done loads of cambelts over the years yet I lashed this one up !! from now on going to make sure I wear my specs checking timing marks.hope you get it sorted .Paul
