Hi Perhaps a dead thread, but I can confirm the stock TDCi intercooler is a direct fit on the TD5. I just fitted one and the only difference I could see was the mateial used for the end tanks which were both Alloy on my 2001 but one is polycarb on the TDCi. Great solution if you dont want to splurge on a bigger intercooler as the TD5 used ones are mostly pretty shag'd and there are a lot of the stock TDCi ones nocking about as nearly new take offs.
