so how do i adjust this to get the steering wheel to self center to keep the MOT man happy?

i bought a 2004 auto face lift last June 67k on the clock, full history my advice look around before buying i looked at about 7 discos before i found one right for me and bought private, local (ie money verus spec) since i bought it i have changed the following doing all the work myself, i have her for towing my caravan so i like everything to be right fuel pressure regulator (it started to weep) the camshaft seal (about a fiver to repalce) removed the ERG (about 40 quid) again this made a BIG difference fitted a new ITG air filter (about 36 quid) this air filter made a BIG difference full fluid replacement (only because i like to know that they are all new oils) replaced the light bulbs with a set of 90% brighter bulbs (these are great) for me she drives beautifully check out this web site for information www.discovery2.co.uk hope this helps

does anyone have the part number for a disco 2 ES rear air rubber springs? also the disco has SLS does that mean i need different type of springs? again would it be better to fit geniune parts? or after market parts? many thanks

yes the disco hub fits the defender, just finished splitting and rebuilding the rear wheel hub on my defender, halfshaft now secured and i am back on the road total cost 20 quid

david thanks for this part number FRC 6141, my mate has a hub off a 300tdi discovery, would this hub fit my defender 90??

planning on going to the new years day event, see u there agree about the location of the sedimeter yesterday carried out a full service on my disco TD5 and the fuel filter is at the rear beside the the wheel, if i was offroading (not that i will in this disco) it would be ripped off

hello offroading just broke the studs holding the half shaft on the rear wheel, tonight tried to use stud extractor broke that as well, so what is the part number for a 300tdi hub? and part numbers for the 5 studs that hold the half shaft to the hub? many thanks

Mark GREENGRASS all fixed and PAST MOT TONIGHT see my other post about the clutch ives

hi all just a little up date on the clutch problem started at the begining and carried out fault finding, checked the master cylinder by putting mole grips on the hose, hard pedal checked all the pipe work, as stated in another post CV on LR4X4 found the hose to the slave cylinder badly twisted, removed the slave cylinder and fixed. used westerns drawing and set the master cylinder exactly as per the drawing (to be honest it was close to the settings) put every thing back together and bled the clutch and GUESS what its working IN FACT "GREENGRASS" PAST THE MOT TONIGHT yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss the 90 also had insa turbos on and nothing was said about them to be honest i cant see what if anything i did different but i now have a working clutch many thanks to everyone who posted big ives aka Ivan

mark big red got a new HD one price greengrass got paddocks special its a good kit 26 plus vat plus postage slave cylinder hose got twisted when neil tried to do a bit of DIY mechanics when i was away on the rig ivan

paul i believe its not ****epart will try the flexible hose trick and see what happens i have replaced quite a few clutches and this is the only one that seems to have done my head in, also shes up for MOT on wednesday night again many thanks
