  1. had the same just after buying mine,it was the compressor, fitted a new one ,no more griefthey have a habit of siezing after many hours of use apparently.easy way to check is unplug compressor and then fit new fuse and see if if everything else works ok,i drove mine like that for a couple of days while awaiting delivery of new compressor
  2. same as that paul,i keep looking in but not always much happeneing, guess we spend too much time trying to fix the p38s and dont get any spare for chatting.mines been off the road for exactly 12 months with electrical issues, think we might finally have sorted it though
  3. the rr p38 i have just purchased has had the air suspension removed and been fitted with normal shocks and springs.what are peoples views on the fors and againsts of this?will i lose traction easier and quicker because of less axle articulation for instance?
  4. hi all,i have just purchased a p reg p38 that has an issue with battery drain when stood.there is a srs light that flickers on the dash while the engine is running and being as the original 4.2 has been replaced with a 2.8 shogun engine i wonder if maybe the wiring needs to be altered to properly activate the airbag system or whether it is possible to disconnect said to overcome the problem.of course this may not be the problem so any suggestions gratefully recieved.i have noted the thread about the aerial to the central locking and will try that too.also has anyone else had a problem with the central locking that requires you not to shut the doors with the key in the ignition as she will happily lock the keys in?
