  1. After returning from camp I could smell diesel in the engine bay. Noticed the fuel pump was wet in certain parts and diesel slightly on the engine mount arm below it.Ā
Cleaned it off and ran the engine and watched. Hopefully you can see the pictures where I ā€œthinkā€ itā€™s weeping from.Ā
    I canā€™t see anything above thatā€™s running downward.Ā

Got a feeling this is bad news? Iā€™ve changed O rings in the past to sort leaks.Ā

As youā€™ve worked out now, youā€™ve got the railko bush type setup. Not really any more difficult to setup, just make sure the preload is correct for that type (itā€™s much higher than the later all-bearing type. And itā€™s easy to miss putting the little fibre disc in the bottom of the bush!

Yes another thing learned. Even the mate whoā€™s more knowledgeable hasnā€™t seen this set up before. I did remember to put the thrust washer in. Itā€™s all back together now.Ā

Do you know off hand what preload it should be set to when itā€™s all connected with seal on?Ā

    Right now itā€™s at around 10 lbs.Ā

ill need to search for gasket too for the back of the swivel ball housing as the original was goosed.

  3. Hi gang, gladly Iā€™ve not needed to post for a while. However, after an MOT advisory about play in the swivel bearing. I decided to replace.Ā
I ordered a kit but by the look of it, itā€™s not the right one.Ā
the thing thatā€™s puzzling (for me) is Ā my 110 seems to only have one bearing located at the bottom swivel pin šŸ¤”Ā

Can anyone shed some light on this set up from the pictures? Or indeed what kit Iā€™d need.Ā

  4. I fitted a new tank and a new sender. It started leaking diesel when i Topped up the tank. it turned out I hadnā€™t tightened the locking ring enough. So a long screw driver and chapped it to the right more and bingo.Ā
    hope this video helps you.Ā

  5. The brake lights and indicators werenā€™t working. The hazards were. Then all of a sudden they started working. Checked the 7.5amp fuse and it was badly corroded. Thereā€™s 5 relays and one is wired to the 7.5amp fuse. (The fuse for indicators and brake lights) getting it all cleaned up. Separated the harness to trace the wires. The relay doesnā€™t look great. So wanted to replace but canā€™t find one at the minute.Ā
