  2. Alright lads, so I’ve been away for a couple of months from here after getting surgery on my back. Slowly getting back to fitness 🙏🏻 I’ve been researching the eberspacher/webasto copy heater made in China and decided to go for one. After many debates on the Facebook page for them, I decided on where to install it and how to safely. I can say that so far after trials of about 15 hours running, ITS AMAZING. I will be toasty during my winter camps that’s for sure. CO detector has also been installed. 👍 3E7C9F4B-BF63-4C13-8586-6C3305754285.MOV
  3. Fantastic Ralph, all set for the winter hopefully. 😊👍
  4. Looking good platoon, have you noticed a difference in the heat in the cab? Did you source the kit from the eblag? And would you say it adds to sound proofing? 😎
  5. Welcome to “thee” forum Dan. 👍 first of all, sounds like a tidy truck, pics would be great. Is there a reason apart from the look, that you want to add the bumper and winch? Reason I ask it’ll only add unwanted weight for that sweet 2.5na to carry. Depending on if you want new or used, eBay is a good place to start. I’m not sure you’re allowed to post in the “wanted” section as yet, I think you need to have a certain amount of posts first. CB I use thunderpole, they have always gave me a good service. Im sure there will be a few popping in to offer some sound advice.
  6. I don’t know if it’s because I’m “up Norf” ..... but I’d slap a good few coats extra on it all..... with the amount of knowledge you have @western this is only a good thing for sure learning about the welds etc..... good job
  7. It’ll be a proud moment when you’re back on the road Ralph 😊👍 I’ve only practiced welding once this year and it’s defo a confidence thing. The guidance from members here is great. Wonder if there’s a welding for beginners section here? 🤔
  8. Thanks guys for the input, seems like the culprit could well be the missing/poor clamps. I’ll get a set ordered along with decent pipes.
  9. Thinking about it, there must be serious vibration if the support brackets are missing? Hence why they keep going right at the time union?
  10. Tim thanks for the diagram, it’s actually pipe number 4 that’s went twice now. I’m sure the clamp is there, not sure there’s two though. Would this make a difference?
  11. No Monkie pipe 1 last year, this year pipe 4, then again today same pipe as last year. It’s the actual pipe splitting not the union. Scuuuuuse my French but it’s Foo**ng annoying. I’ll try LR series 👍
  12. Can anyone recommend where to get decent pipes ETC4291 set that will last? I’m sick of going trips to the Glens and pulling into car parks for a tea break to smell diesel. I already know what’s wrong before I pop the bonnet 😡😡 The pipe that went yesterday was replaced a year ago and split at the fuel pump. Limped home today after a temp fix..... please help me get decent fuel pipes that will last.
  13. Thanks @skirky dave it’s not too bad. Just hovering around 0c the last few nights. Log burner on bud 😊🔥 I think a set of glow plugs couldn’t do any harm with mine either. Wouldn’t know the last time they were changed. I’ve had the truck 2.5 years now..... 👍 look forward to the replies.
  14. Interested in his as I too have a 2.5 n/a, ..... hope you don’t mind me following.
  15. Driving home from wales today in the “boring” car (although it did very well) and spotted this on the M6...... soft top, left hand drive and looked in mint condition!! Made me smile
  16. By the way, I didn’t put that arrow in the picture 😎
  17. Not clued up too much on series but this looks like it? 527109 part number
  18. Valeo one went in mine a year ago, even looking at the difference between the one that came off and the valeo one going on, you could see quality was in the valeo one. I’d do the clutch bearing too as it’ll probably be ready to start jangling when you’re sitting in neutral with engine running. 😊👍
  19. I’m sure they are up to 100C..... new ones ordered with a 77C-127C range.👍😊
  20. I reckon my temp stickers are duff then, I put then on and there’s no clear indication of what the temp is. I’ll order new ones and hope for a better result.
  21. Where did you get your temp stickers from Fridge? I ordered from the link posted by another kind forum member but they are “pea aye ish”...... I think the ones I got are non reversible and don’t even give off a reading 🙄 are those bolts the originals or did you change them n the sump?
  22. Yes @Scotts90 I certainly was. Headed down to portencross for a run out. 😊👍
  23. Other forums I’d say would take the mick out of new members, this forum is top dog for helping folk. Any joy on the clutch problem?
  24. Looks nice, few scars on the front wing I see, love the double tailgate also. If you have trouble with brakes this is definitely the place to get them sorted. (Wonder how I know?🙄😎) welcome
