I’ve got the same antenna, it’s only used in convoy so it doesn’t need to perform a massive distance. That’s the kinda idea I’ve been thinking of. 🤔

Ok guys I’ve tracked down two aerial military columns, after I bring the paint work back to life I’m thinking of taking my CB aerial from the roof and using one of the columns. (Cooler look?) so have any of you did this? Good bad experience? Ideas for the best look? I’m swithering with an idea but would like your input as usual 👍😊 Right, better get to work 🙄

Having recently fitted my mud flap kit which included steel bolts etc onto Ali.... the kit came with a tube of K48 Moly grease to prevent (or slow) the reaction between the two metals. Hmmmm something to ponder as I’ve also done the water pump last year. 🤔

Great use of Jubilee clips !! 😛 a rubber grommet in the canister drain hole with silicone? I guess you just need to check the air filter more frequently. Great read sitting here with a Cuppa as work time approaches. Thanks for that ! 😊👍

Hi Dave, when I do get one I shall do my best to give the details, not sure it would be up to forum standards but I’ll give it a go. still looking at the minute but with one thing and another haven’t bid on any eberspacher yet. I get goosebumps even thinking bout it, all cosy warm and a preheated truck to climb into 😊😊😎🔥

Great to see everyone getting involved, just a shame there’s no beer and fire under the stars...... I’ve seen two eberspacher heaters on flee bay. One looks great with thermostat and timer. What to do? Go for the planar new at £430 or second hand eberspacher at £300? The programable timer really tempts me, this Sunday at home my landy will be out in -2 ish tempts..... I’d program it to heat it up around 4am. (I need to get out more I know) Dave, why save up? It’s only up the road? If you’re really thinking of it let me know. I have my close knit 3 Amigos (me included) that do these runs and camp. We know where to go in the Landy’s where we can relax, fire, beer and hopefully stars.

It’s such a shame as the responsible adventurers know how to treat the land. It’s the neds (chavs) that spoil it. We can “Wild camp” and use 90% of the rivers to kayak etc..... there’s a few areas that have a “management system” in place in peak season. After all..... the Land has been here for a few years before us?? Why should anyone tell us it’s theres? 👍😎

Well if there’s one thing that’s persuading me more and more to get a heater in the 110, it was sleeping out in -4 at the weekend. Not too bad in the truck under the duvet but the heater would have made it more enjoyable. just a few from camp.......
