  1. Got mine a couple of days ago. Thanks to all involved. B) Andrew
  2. Great DVDs. Thanks for making and distributing. Loads of effort obviously gone into the HOFS dvd. Must start leaving 'Visit Russia' holiday brochures about the place. Andrew.
  3. My two arrived today, very impressed! Well done to everyone involved, must have been a heck of a job getting those sorted and out. Andrew.
  4. Bushes get a bit more hammered, particularly the trailing arm chassis ones, this can be sorted if you go for cranked replacements, not essential though. Anti roll bar needs removed otherwise it is ridiculously tight, however I don't think your '86 vintage will have one so it's a moot point. Self centring is meant to be less sharp because of the change in castor angle but tbh I havn't noticed any difference If you're after bigger rubber Carryduff Tyres (in carryduff funnily) or Magowan in Mallusk do good deals on BFGs if you push them a bit.... B) Andrew
  5. I've not had any problems with vibrations or leaking diffs. May be more of a issue with shorter props though. Andrew.
  6. I used the 2" lift packers from llama 4x4 . I just fitted the spacers, extended brake lines and 2" longer shocks. I've had this set up it on the 110 for nearly a year now and can't fault it on or off road. David's dead on to deal with (he posts on here too) and doesn't fleece for NI delivery. Andrew. PS: Good suspension summary here:Sus
  7. Apparently the mere act of wearing a HOFS t-shirt doubles your winch speed (Hydraulic only of course ) BTW I think I've got the only one up North Andrew.. NILRC
  8. Ordered one of each. thanks for sorting this out. I can now wash last years in safety......... Andrew.
  9. Got mine today! Went something like this: swmbo: heres the post for you, what is it? me: Its a dvd swmbo: what is it, whys it got russian on it? me: Oh its some high quality pron. swmbo: no its not, its about Land Rovers isn't it, you sad barsteward! Thanks to HFH and all for sorting this out.. Andrew
  10. been through this 'fun' recently , with a fair bit of wiggling and poking (long nose pliers did the job for me) I got the rollers out and pulled the whole hub/disc off. The inner race was stuck on the stub axle, as this is very hard and smooth (ooerr! ) steel, I found that nothing could get enough purchase to break the 'weld' with the axle So I (very) carefully used a dremel to create some ridges on the race and clamped a big pipe wrench on to it. This gave enough grip and leverage to break the seal with the axle shaft. After that I just gently tapped it of with a small chisel, working round the race lip to avoid damaging the stub axle..did take a while though HTH. Andrew.
  11. Reach arm back really really far and throw massively TF :) I'd show you a video of my MM and ZF74 at 'full chat' but you'd die of boredom I nearly did filming it Works for me as I'm not usually in a hurry, it'll pull enough and all day. If you want more speed it's bigger pump, bigger reservoir, new crontrol block and probably a different pump propulsion method (PTO, crank, or chain) as I think (stand to be corrected on this one) the belts will start slipping fairly quickly if you try to extract a higher load off them. So in a word no, its not in the same league as Petals Type R -ish Milemarker setup. Andrew.
  12. Here you go: Front: Back: And Side HTH. Andrew.
  13. Got mine too, cool T-Shirt, now think I should have got two Looks even better in the flesh than on t'internet. Cheers, Andrew
