  1. Thanks Simon Guess I need to get the scanners out then and see if I can adjust the lever alittle so it doesn't need to move so far to the left. Thanks for the reply. Ian
  2. Hi thanks for that. From left to right the lever will move about three inches without the gaiter on. What should it normally be? Is the lever having to move to far and the gaiter is getting in the way. Cheers Ian
  3. Hi and thanks for the answers. I have had a quick look and the most obvious issue is that with the rubber gearstick gator removed the diff lock lever moves further to the left and has a reassuring click when it moves. Diff lock light is on properly now as well, not flickering. It feels like the gator is causing the issue. I would love to think this is the case? Any one ever seen this? Cheers Ian.
  4. if the light works... the difflock light was flickering on and off, I guess this is either the switch or a dodgy wire on mine... For me jacking up one wheel proved the diff is locking. Just not happy the lever creeps back towards unlocked. Going to whip the switch out tomorrow perhaps and take a look to see if thats the issue. Ian
  5. Hi This is my first post following a lot of searching on the subject as I am not happy with the difflock lever on my 90, it does not feel right. This earlier post describes my diff lock lever is, it feels spongy when pushed over to the left and seems to creep back. This is the first 90 I have owned, only had series before so I am not sure how positive the lever should be. Are there any obvious things to check as I think its time to get the spanners out and take a proper look? I have checked by jacking up one wheel and the diff seems to lock OK, worried that it could unlock though as the lever creeps back. Gearbox is LT77, LT230 transfer box. Thanks for any advice given Ian
