  1. Thanks for all your replys. The vehicle should get a new reg. As don't really have a donor car. and as the axles are disco 2 transfer box disco 2, frame and chassis all new tubualar gearbox gm and the engine ls. Quite a mix and match!!

  3. Will, already have the engine, no cats came with it just headers. Think i'll try caontacting the engine supplier in america. Ian
  4. I thought you need them for sva iva. And then the mot eventuallly i would have thought. Not certain tho so if anyone can shed any light on that it'll help. Have found a company called jetex who can supply them like but not sure on the costs yet!!! Ian

  9. hi all slow but sure progress on the car in these difficult times, but im shopping around for gear box shifter the box im using is 4l80e. as ive never bought anything like this before i need some advive i was advised to look for a bmf shifter, they all look the same to me any help please pm to me !
  10. Thank you for the file. Its only wrote on the plate that the coil packs are bolted to duh!! lol
  11. this may sound daft but took the ht leads off my range rover a few weeks ago not thinking about positions and can't remember which go where. can any body shed any light on this. its a pre 99 so has the coils all in a single row at the back of the engine rather than been two seperate packs. can find the relative postion for the later type but not for the early 1. Oh yeah its a 4.6 p38 range rover. thanks in advance for halp with my stupid mistake. ian
  12. Hi i wonder if anyone can help. My friends dad is in africa and has been for a few months. I've just had a text off him asking what size cracks are acceptable near the heater plug. I've not spoke to him or have no photos as of yet, Any light shedded would be helpful. Thanks Ian
