  1. This looks as a problem of immo... i have similar issues once in 1-2 months too
  2. Hello guys,I did the injector seals/washers change twice on my D2 and Defender.when I proceeded, I was suggested by some mechanics to warm the washers until they got red, and then submerge in water. This way the copper becomes softer and gives better sealing.I wonder if anyone of you did this? What do you think about? How long do you usually drive you car until you need another seal/washer change?

  4. yeap, read it already after posting. now I would ask, if I will connect the blidge blower with a separate switch, do I need a resistor? As I understand the resistor offers the possibility to have more than a single speed. Am I correct? So assuming I do not require more speeds, I can only connect the blower through a fuse to a ON/OFF switch?
  5. then it is NOT Attwood 3000 , but is Attwood 4000. Ruuman, please advise on this point.
  6. as I noticed at this moment: Attwood 3000 has the diameter of 3inch Attwood 4000 has the diameter of 4inch link: http://www.attwoodmarine.com/userfiles/store/product/files/1238/1731.pdf I'd ask Ruuman again to check which one he was fitting. what diameter fit there better?
  7. hey guys, I returned to the idea to upgrade the blower fan, but, I noticed that there are 2 different models of 4-inch Attwood fans, 3000 and 4000. here is the link of the second one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Attwood-Turbo-4000-II-4-Inch-Marine-Boat-Bilge-Blower-12-Volt-Water-Resistant-/201482295786?hash=item2ee947d9ea:g:9sEAAOSwp5JWaZfn what do you think about comparison between them? which one deserve to be installed? also, do you think it is a good idea to wire it separately, to have full control on blower speed? this way, I will be able to have 4 different speeds for my heater: 1. factory low speed 2. factory high speed 3. factory low speed + additional fan 4. factory high speed + additional fan
  8. I have similar problem Defender, TD5, remapped, allisport intercooler, wastegate reconfigured as requested after remap. The car smokes when climbing (when the boost is big), I don't have tacho, but I guess somewhere lower than 1500rpm then it disappear and the car drives well if I stay in place in Neutral, and put full throttle, the car smokes a lot
  9. Ruuman, as I understand the additional fan has only one speed and when together with standard one it looks like having 2 different speeds? So now, the difference in 1st and 2nd speed remains as in standard option? there is not such a big difference between them. Am I correct? You also say it's a 4inch blower... Unfortunately on internet I found only 3 inch blower. Could you state what's the difference? Is this the diameter or length?
  10. interesting how you made the bracket? I am on the way to fit a D2 300tdi alternator to my TD5 DEF.
  11. hey Andrew, thanks for the message. I wanted to ask, how should I know the frequency of the key fob (plip)? I don't know it is a 433 or 315 I opened the key fob but didn't see there anything interesting..
  12. done, and I already felt the increase in power unfortunately, it is possible that the fuel economy also increased a little.. I will check again next time at top-filling tank
  13. guys, what would be the maximum weight to tow on offroad conditions? asking this I mean the reasonable weight to NOT damage the car, not the allowed weight
  14. hey guys, I have a question, I have removed the EGR using terrafirma kit, it did not include the vacuum pipe. question is: is something wrong if I left the vacuum pipe which was connected to the EGR? should I remove the solenoids too and blank the air pipe to the filter, and also this vacuum pipe? what could go wrong if I leave it as it is and the vacuum pipe is there NOT connected to any device?
  15. so, I think the part number is ANR4636PM. What do you think? I think I could fit them as I am already wear the 265/75. Also, please tell me if these wheels are too heavy and if I should replace them with other ones? Please note that I do not need beautiful ones, as I am using the car for hunting.
  16. Im afraid I couldn't find it now, however, I have seen the dimensions written on one of the rims. here it is the first one: 5.50Fx16x33 other rims have only E529 1L (don't know what that means) and A648 4L Btw, I have 2 kits of rims as I had 2 Defenders. In case I make a photo of the car from aside, would that help you to suggest me?
  17. regarding the steering lock, please note that I already faced troubles with the 265/75 tires. I had to reduce the steering distance so that the steering wheel is turning a little less to avoid rubbing. If I make a photo of the car as it is now, could you expect if I will find there any troubles while fitting the 255/85 tires?
  18. thanks for replying me, however I want to tell you the followings: yes, I'm running now the 265/75, I fitted them on the standard rims that came with my car. The previous tires were 7.50x16 XPC Michelin. I'm not sure I know the dimensions of the tires in inch. So, what would you say now? Could I get the following tires the 255/85?
  19. Hey friends. I have a 2000 Defender 110. Currently I use the 265/75 R16 Kumho Venture KL71 tires. They are heavy and I think to get next tires to be better. Would the 255/85R16 fit in the standard Defender with no lift? I use standard Rims, metal, white, they are like wolfs, but do not have the holes. thanks in advance.
