  1. have a 5litre tin of nato green straight from the RM stores, £40 if your local, Plymouth area
  2. Job done. Replaced about 80% of the footwell. Thanks for all the advice. Removing the wing is a definite advantage as it gives you plenty of room to work and a sharp chisel for the spot welds was an asset. Took a complete day to rip out the old and weld in the new, no major problems. Must have been my lucky day Found it easier to cut out sections at a time to enable better leverage on the next bit. Also replaced the clutch master while it was stripped out though did find the bottom fixing bolt a little fiddly, you need long fingers.
  3. As the bank hols are looming I intend on replacing the drivers footwell as with the draft blowing up my leg it gets alittle numb. Anyone got any pointers or tips on doing this fix. The plan is to remove the wing to give better accessibility and totally replace the panel Any step by step photos would be greatly appreciated Series 3 109 1975 Visit My Website
  4. Alittle help/advise needed please. On selecting four wheel drive the steering seems to "snatch" when turning corners. My 109 is fitted with Fairey FWH and this problem does not occur in normal 2 wheel drive. Ideally I need to know what is the cause and then the repair!!
  5. Thanks for all the advice, suppose a set of white Rostyles are up for grabs. what else do they fit besides a 90, RR classic
  6. Hi, Think I've made a little mistake and bought some 750xR16 Avon Rangemasters fitted on Rostyle rims, trouble is I've got a Series III 109 with free wheeling hubs, I was more interested in the tyres than the rims and didn't suspect they wouldn't fit. Are my suspicions correct and if so any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
