  3. Hi Folks, Would anyone have or know where to get info on the loom for the above auto box, like what is it the sensors are that the plugs go into etc. any help would be great thanks Shane

I have a started with a 1989 2.5td pickup then it got a galv chassis from a 300tdi and mountings changed to accept a 4.2 V8 thats machined to take GEMS sensors and GEMS ECU mated to a discovery 2 Auto box, pushing disco 2 axles. Body work believe it or not still has its original tub, 2005 bulkhead galvanized, 1990 county sides, 2007 county roof, heated windscreen and frame from 1999, 2016 front and rear doors, 2010 puma bonnet. 2004 seatbox, new exmoor seats to fit along with a puma dash Sprayed it nardo grey and didnt like to got it all vapour blasted and painted it firenze red and santorini black roof definitely a runner for the triggers brush award

  6. I'm not floor paint expert but have wrecked their heads enough that i've done the following. I've painted a few floors before using this process and they all had problems Diamond Grind floor Apply epoxy sealer Apply 2 pac floor paint with a 2mm floor screed apply quartz sand while its wet. think its a kilo per sq meter but basically until its completely covered by the sand let dry and remove excess sand apply second coat of 2 pac paint with a squeegee I find if you dont have the sand and the floor gets wet you will be the next Thorvill and Dean Yes its a lot but its the only one that has lasted for me and my motto is Go big or Go home 🤣
  7. Hi Folks, Does anyone know the size of the GEMS slimline knock sensor stud. I know its M12 that goes into the block but the stud part that the sensor fits to looks to be M8. I just want to confirm. Thanks Shane
  8. Guys I have an early model defender the under the driver seat fuel tank. What are the sizes of the fuels lines, feed and return for the efi v8. Even better if someone knew the size in -6 or -8 for example. Thanks Shane
