  1. As a supplier, we are not longer allowed to supply any bull bar or A bar that doesn't comply with current EU safety regulations, unless we had them in stock before 1st June (I think that was the date). What isn't clear is where winch bumpers fit. Do they comply? We don't know. No-one has told us. Our suppliers don't know. We got the last ARB Disco II winch bumper left in the UK just before the ban which we fitted to a customers car. But can an individual buy from ARB in South Africa and have it sent direct to the UK? The penitly for us would be a £5,000 fine and up to 6 months in prison!
  2. At Billing and Peterborough last year my dad was making webbing straps to order. A few people bought loading hooks and rings from Scorpion and asked us to stitch them into some 75mm strops. At Peterborough someone from Scorpion came over and asked us to make one. No problem. Perhaps they would be impressed and ask us to make some. Or....they could copy them and sell them themselves..... Which do you think they did?
  3. I'll see if I can dig out some pics of my trips up there. I've been on the pass 3 times and only made it over once. Snow lies pretty early and stays late, especially in the hiar-pin bends. Don't worry about these bends as you can get round in a 110 without problem (unless they're full of snow). The problem area is bellow the bends where the track is pretty well washed out. You'll need to pick your line through here as you might get cross axled. Lower down the track it's a bit bumpy but nothing to worry about.
