update on lany MOT passed smoke test very low the mean was only .93 p/m pump turned up today it seams a different motor now lots of power and very little smoke so will leave it alone now am quite happy ,

Well the pump has been replaced and is she is running well, not as quick off the mark as before as this pump has not been tweaked I will leave it alone for a few weeks as the MOT is due and it is running very clean at the minute.

Well folks update on fuel pump is not good,my mate tried everything to get fuel out of the pump but no luck he the took the back off the pump and found the disc with the peg in had sheared,he replaced the disc from the spare pump got the fuel pumping, got fuel to the injectors fired her up for 3 seconds and it stopped, sheared the pin again so back to square one.Will have to replace pump but only have 200 pump to swap, have read they will fit I hope so .Later

Thanks chaps will take on board what you have said,have a mate coming to take a look at her tomorrow so hopefully should be able to make some progress. Will post update when a verdict is reached .

Yes Riley have done that but had no luck also wondered if towing her to see if she will start will be better than winding the starter over and over?

Have not checked the pick up in tank as I primed fuel up to the pump will check it out tomorrow just to make sure its ok , should be able to rig a fuel can up to test the pump.

Evening folks badly need help with fuel pump problem on my lany . Symptoms so far ran fine yesterday morning,went to it at tea time failed to start so checked the fuel filter noticed fuel cloudy, contaminated with water so emptied tank cleared fuel lines new filter bled fuel to the pump unable to get fuel further so took out bolt with small mesh filter on back of pump that was blocked so replaced it still no joy .So I then checked solenoid voltage 11.95v did not click very loud when ignition was switched on so I then replaced the solenoid with another working unit .Also the timing belt seams ok after all this still unable to get fuel to the injectors ?

Thanks for the advice seams a shame to scrap it (engine blown ) can anything else be utalised before termanation running gear wise cheers

Hey up chaps talking of axel swaps just wondering if the 3.9 disco rear axel would be any use as a swop on a 200tdi 110 are the diff ratios the same cheers.

Hey up chaps been runining on wvo for 10 months 50/50 summer 70/30 winter starts 1st time every time.Have got a 200tdi 110 just have to change fuel filter every 4/5 months smells nice though

Many thanks chaps think I will stick to the standard shocks ,are there any tips you can give me to help the refit go a bit smoother apart from get someone else to do it cheers.

Hey up folks newboy here , need advice on best front shocks for 200tdi do not need to be performance quality just good value , gas or oil which is best many thanks .
