if i understand your question right,the way to get around this problem is to move the position of the inlet of the turbo,you need large circlip pliers,unbolt the waste gate actuater,open the circlip,rotate the housing clock wise to right position,drill and tap holes for wastegate actuater,may sound complicated but when you look again at your turbo it becomes clear.

i would recomend discovery steels,very very strong,i have recently modded some to change the off set,far better quality than modulars or 8 spokes.

i have a replacement Range rover at present which is nice. we only keep them 24 months at most so a extra year warrenty would not help me

they are checking it today and takeing photos to send to land rover for comments

hi,have you spoken to trading standards?they may have had dealings with said dealer in the past,i had awful greif with our lr main agent in ipswich with a 110 csw,took a lot of holding of breath and footstamping and persistance to get everything sorted,solihul customer services were next to useless,one lesson i learnt was paying for a vehicle in one go seems to leave you at there mercy,if you buy on finance the finance company will also back you up.good luck stay persistant.

hi,in the process of building a coiler special with my lad,shortened

discovery chassis,200tdi engine,defender 77 box,suzuki sj body,how does the tdi perform less the intercooler,bear in mind this will only be used off road at pay&play sites etc.

i have done a few,i don,t like the sledge hammer method,i have access to a lathe and mont my rims in an old hub,cut the weld away plus 15mm of wheel centre,then press the centre out on a press,they usually go with a fair old bang,sledge hammering them can distort and fracture the centre,only my two penneth worth.

yes it is possible to change the bell housing & input shaft to a short one,my mate has converted lt77s the otherway.are you going to be using the truck on asi? the lt77 is plenty strong enough, i have one available if you are interested.i spent 6 very happy months on ascension island in86/87,regards chris.

hi,i,me new to the forum,i have just acquired a rr classic,with standard suspension,i want to off road it this weekend,i have a set of 7.50x16 goodyear g90 on discovery steel rims,will i get away with just trimming the wings,the rr will only be used offroad.
