I personally think tubular bumpers on Rangies and disco's look a little odd.
First Four bumpers may be expensive, but I have a tubular one on my 90 and is is excellent quality
Sounds silly, but the bonnet is in the hinges properly? I know when I've put mine back on in a rush and found it doesn't line up, I've usually missed one hinge

Very much looking forward to this build Jason.
What height are you aiming for overall? shorter than the current trailer?
Also, what sort of height will there be inside between mattress top and the roof?
You will need:
A new rear door
Full length roof
Side panels.
And get rid of the TC roof, tailgate and the back TC panel behind the seats
Its all nuts and bolts and can easily be done in a day/half day depending on the number of tea breaks
Must be a wide age range Mo, as I feel the same. Just so frustrating with the truck in bits that I can't do my alternative route home from work at the drop of a hat, not sure the pug would like it!
This is what I normally do with the Pug, putting it in the car the night before then switching it on when I wake up. By the time my lunch is together I have a nice warm car. As you say by the time the added heat is wearing off, the car is up to temperature
My temp gauge runs through the speedo head and it was easy to do (that's coming from an electrical Luddite). That is using green 300tdi sender in my 200.
Not the whole hand, I can reach through with just a couple of fingers. If I remember I will get a picture if that would help Filip?
My 90 has the indicator stalk on the left too, and that's 1984 vintage.
my DD is a pug 206, spirited country driving is easy but as you say town is a little different. Using the right hand to indicate (LH stalk) I usually end up doing it through the larger opening in the wheel; or flicking it when palm steering. Hope this is of some use!
If its from the back of the brake disk then yes its probably the hub seal.
Wouldn't normally get oil from the hub oil seal as it would be grease in the bearings (says he with his rear bearings in oil).
Its a bit fiddly, but possible. Much easier with an XBrake I believe! I broke the thin end of the speedo drive off when I fitted it wrong. However, it all still works...[not going to Jinx it!!!].
Not sure how thats going to help really? Other than allowing you to turn the rear prop when you have one rear wheel off the ground.
The slider, you can't really check without the prop off the vehicle and the UJs pretty much the same.
The torque front-back is equal. Its the weight transfer/traction that is the problem . more weight & traction = more LOAD on the components in the rear.
