Hi, thats what i like to see, someone who's not afraid to get stuck in, great job, i'm thinking of putting defender arches on my 3 door are they easy to adapt to make them fit?

I did think of that but was a bit worried about the water tightness over a period of time ( movement etc) and also blocking the airway to much by crushing the flexi pipe to get it into the snorkel bracket, must be plenty of second hand parts available to do the job spot on surely?

Well I was told by the "specialist" that sold it to me that with a metre of flexi pipe i could easily modify the snorkel, and it being over a hundred quid cheaper than the correct one was a "bargain" you pay for what you get lol, and its to far to travel to take it back really

Hi all I'm fitting a snorkel to my LR, i bought a snorkel thats attaches to the near side wing, At the side behind the wheel, the trouble is my LR doesn't have the air intake grill there, I'm happy to cut the wing to fit the pipe but need to attach my flexi pipe from the air box to the wing or to the snorkel bracket that bolts to the wing, I'm assuming there is a plastic moulding that would do the job if my LR had the side air intake? Trouble is i seem to be struggling to find the part, does anyone know of the bit i think i need? or indeed have a better idea of how to attach the snorkel? cheers
