LOL.......I was doing a job on the turbo/exhaust manifold and caught the switch with the end of the ratchet handle....finished my job and went to start it....NOTHING.....lots of head scratching later after testing fuel pump etc my mate says have you pressed the cut off switch
I would have said yes....if the engine is running give the switch a swift tap with a screwdriver handle or rachet and it should cut the engine and put the hazzrds on....ask me how i know that
The bolt is the sub frame mounting bolt O/S removed from underneath the car.....in the boot you will find a round disc above the bolt which is where you need to be.

Very common problem with them when the VCU is siezed.....need to half remove the subframe and cut the boot floor our and fix the crack and re-weld up.
Dont have a picture of underneath as im at work.....but you will soon see when you remove the bolt and drop the sub frame.
Its normaly wear in the box that makes the seals leak so a new seal might help for a real short time as its a bit softer.....and IIRC the nut is a 41mm

Oil cooler....near oil filter housing and should have water pipes going to it....again its not something we see very often on these but more so the transit vans.
IIRC all TD5's were fitted with the dual mass flywheels to help stop transmission noise....you can fit the solid flywheels with super heavy duty clutch's but sometimes you do get a bit of gearbox chatter if the box is a bit worn.
