Any help please, the rear widow demist does not seem to work?, the button on the console lights up but rear window does not actually demist?- any help and advice would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have a 2005 TD4 5 door 2.0 diesel freelander ad the front windscreen wiper on the intermittent cycle has gone strange,stops half way across screen, the normal format wiper mode is fine?, is this a replacement motor requirement and is it easy to DIY?, thanks in advance everyone
