  1. hi mate , possible injector seals, dose it start at all, carry out fuel pressure test, to confirm pump, good luck.
  2. reservior pressure static when filling .its a dryer and exhaust ( on the comprser ) replacment / mod , only done by dealer . not sure on the other fault at the mo. if i can rember i will get the part numbers for you and post them here tomoz.and the TSB number.
  3. agree , do it A.S.P or you will need a new compresor as well.

Hi guys , ok your are able to convert the old analog system using this new box of tricks , how ever its not cheap at £735.00 +vat fitting and programing is about £135.00 depending on your dearler and how quiet they are. The part number is :LRO14222 , its for petrol and diesel models up to when they were fitted with the new system, THIS WILL NOT BE COVER BY WARRENTY, if your about to buy a range rover from a dealer , check to see if it works , if it dont get them to pay for one , or the deals off, type of thing. Im not sure if you can get any thing cheaper from a radio speciltist, cheers all.

  10. hi mate , i ran the 60 squid type one , with a solid gear, for ages in my QT lasted for ages , drilled a small hole in the front of the block to aid oil flow to help keep it quiet / and lube , to be honest mate i dougbt you could here it any ways, and as you say its only in your off roader.

  13. hi mate , if there the original ones , then change them , also , aviod cheap ones, go for branded ones far better and worth the bit extra imo.
  14. hi mate can you hear the fuel pump , more than normal , will it fire up after 3 or 4 turns of the key.

  17. hi all, a forum member is intersted in a V8 induction kit i have got ,manifold plenumn dizz veh wiring loom blah blah blah, thing is im in exeter he,s in southampton , anyone passing through exeter to southampton , any chance you can drop said stuff off to him , i would imagion some beer tokens would be offerd cheers all. darren
  18. hi mate , check the fluid , and see if its low, the fork and push rod can wear , causing a low bite point. if thats the case , then you may as well do the clutch as ya gotta strip it to change them,, removing the slave cyl, and taking the push rod out . you will be able to see the afected part,also using a small mirrorr and light you should just be able to peer inside the bell housing for a look , hope this helps.
  19. h imate , yes it can be done, once you remove the bulkhead and all the commercial trim your left with a disco with no rear seats, the one we had in had large pop rivets in the holes were the seatbelt bolts thro the wheel arch ,as it was a customers i couldnt dig around it to much , i have heard since that not all of them had the pop rivet treatment, if you know what i mean, also as far as i know the electric window wiring is also left in place, as was the switches, just very black windows,again easly changed from parts on here or ebay. so mate in short yes, also there may be a V.A.T issue , to think about , but im no expert on that side mate, hope this helps, cheers darren.

  21. hi mate , how long stood up for , i had a classic stood for just over a year in that time the tappets had lost there oil due to draining, and a few didnt like being compressd for that long , poss it may just be dead tappets, ?????????????????????????, a good ole drag up zee road may sort it.
  22. Hi mate , whip the rocker cover off and check all injectors, the can leak / snap causing the sump to fill with fuel. TURN ON ING ONLY DO NOT CRANK ,BUT IM SURE YOU KNOW THAT , WITH NO COVER ON .
  23. hi mate , some go all way to ecu, some on the wings, there was a bulliten, to replace the hub and sensor,in one, as minor metal fillings in the hub was causing the abs light to come on , you prolly end up changing the lot ,tbh( or words to that effect).
