  1. Mud stuff sell scene lights a bit spendy but pack a decent amount of light without the need for wiring upgrades They do 2 models HTH
  2. I have come across this on a previous puma, the gutter was almost full but there was a gutter, maybe 3-4mm .. are you saying the gutter is full ? if so, when it's a warm day it goes soft, remove some for the rack feet or rack foot rail.
  3. I've had my alpines out once, and on my old disco. I found out from another forum, that the filler strip / rubber filler changed to a slightly thicker profile due to water ingress. I replaced the rubber and the filler strip, if you have the filler strip tool and some fairy liquid, does not take that long. my 2p
  4. i was out at the weekend with a '63 plate csw that had been landy-glassed, it was a black truck, it looked like a van but was a very tidy job and in some ways more practical than the OEM van sides, I'm not so sure it works on colours other than black though
  5. I use duralac on non-similar metals, especially hannibal rack grub screws - works a treat
  6. I have a 2.4 tdci, clutch fine compared to a td5 but mine are low mileage, there have been a number of revisions for the 2.4 and 2.2 clutches
  7. i have 2 odyssey pc 1500's in my truck for 2 1/2 year with no problems, I run a ctec charger on them when the truck is stored. i used the bluesea dual battery controller mine worked fine in Norway and are rated to -55C, they have gell not water
  8. I'm thinking about fitting a pair of gas-struts (one each side) - this would stop the bonnet from being lifted too high (without taking them off) and would be easier to open the bonnet in general.
  9. nice looking cooker Jason
  10. If you are looking at Offender alloys, also consider ZU's, they come in all colours including satin black.
  11. cheers, I have emailed Jurg at the Land Rover club of Switzerland
  12. Just moved from the UK to Switzerland and bought a LHD 110 defender, I need to find someone who would be able to Waxoyl it for me (or is this not allowed in Swizerland) Ideas anyone ?
  13. cheers TJ, it's clean and tidy, professionally cleaned then underbody waxed by me, Full service history, I am the 3rd owner, I bought it when it had 24k in 03/2006. I was told the first owner was famous, he/she sold it to the farm manager, and I bought it from Caffyns. Since the Puma middle row seats have been fitted, I had to loose 2 of the dickies so it's a 7 seater. thanks for the info guys. It's going up for sale.
  14. I have just bought a new defender and I need to sell my 2003 110 XS .. it is a 2003, XS model in Epsom green and has 59k miles XS includes: ABS, TC, aircon, Heated 1/2 leather front seats, heated windscreen, electric front windows, boost alloys, side steps, rear step I have added the 1.2 ashcroft transfer box upgrade, makes the car cruise at 70 & quietly, and the middle row seats replaced with the new puma middle row, 3x3point seat belts and headrests I think it's worth about £11 to £12k.. what do you think?
