1987 3.5 EFI

All of a sudden the totally reliable Rangie has no indicators and no brake lights; the hazard switch fires all the indicators ok. However, when the right or left direction stick is moved the seat belt warning light comes on and the low coolant warning light flashes - very pretty!. When I touch the brake, these two same warning lights light up but no rear brake lights. Do I start with the brake light switch, the indicator relay or something else? Come to think of it , I have never seen the seat belt warning light come on before, seatbelts fixed or not. As you can expect, any help will be gratefully received as most other road users are getting really confused when I forget the hand signals!

Don't suppose you want some second hand Classic Rangie shocks to give me an excuse for renewing mine ?

Just new to the Range Rover ownership - just bought a 1987 EFI and it's brilliant. Previous owner disconnected the central locking as a security thing - I want to reconnect but have not yet got a book of words for it - is it a simple job of diving into the drivers door inner panel and reconnecting wires? I would also be grateful for some info on where to get a remote kit so I can forget the keys. I would also like to put an alarm on it - any tips for a decent supplier? many thanks Ethers
