Could be your turbo on its way out

Depending on where abouts on the side you want it to exit, Gwyn Lewis makes one. His one exits infront of the rear wheel arch

Have you got any pics of the wheels at all Mark?

Blimey, Rhys...... I'll have them off you for the price of a second hand set of modulars!!!
Or not
Although it is suprising how little off set you need to stop the tyres catching. My modulars that are for sale have 4.5" backspacing. This is around standard for a set of mods, however with the beadlockers it brings it out a further 1.5". This then allows the tyre to not catch on anything, even the radius arms, and even on full articulation with an extreme kit. The rockathon wheels that I have bought have 4" backspacing but are 10" wide. They rub like hell
Tip would be to go for a small offset really

My rangie had the same problem. Although mine was the diff, as couple of weeks later it blew up

Nope, rough counrty. Softer, and alllow the car the flex easier off road. Not so good on road.
-
Not on full travel. Still got another 3" drop on the back and loads on the front.

Gwyn lewis challenge kit all the way. Alot of members on here will be putting forward this setup. Very popular and works faultlessly. His customer service is excellent and products are extremely well fabricated.

ps: it may also pay to just do a "search" on here for gwyn lewis suspension or simular. This will give you the feedback you need.

You might like to try a set of modulars...

I know where you can get some modulars.............. Beadlocks come free

The cheapest form of lift has got to be the spacer blocks. Although no suspension travel is gained.

What a range rover or a bobtail?
-
Get one.............then bobtail it

Or it could be that your air filter is blocked up a bit

How do I go about drilling the bushes then? Apart from the obvious
-
You will loose articulation as there will be less movement in the axle end bushes. Also caster correction will not help if you are running into issues with the chassis end bush. This is unlikely unless you are running a huge amount of lift.
Ok I also have some 3 degree qt arms. Will they restrict the front articulation as well?

The pro comp's are softer than de carbon's, although IMHO de carbon's are much better. However, if you want a soft setup go for rough country as this is what I run and off road they are superb.

Have just bought some OME castor bushes with arms for £20, so will put these on and see what happens
-
We have brunel. Wouldn't go any different, very helpful
-
I have the TSL LTB wich is a little more agressive than the sx and I can say that it peforms very well, although in the sandy terrain it will dig big hole quick if you are lacking in forward drive.
-
It is pulling on the bushes too much. Corrected swivels are too much hassel IMHO.

Ok cheers Tony, I would conclude that as a very worth while upgrade then
I will see what kind of deal I can grab at billing

The standard 12v 8274's specs are as follows;
Line Pull
Lbs.(Kgs.) Line Speed FT./min(M/min.)
0 73.4(22.4)
2000(910) 22(6.71)
4000(1810) 12(3.66)
6000(2720) 9.50(2.90)
8000(3630) 6.10(1.86)
If upgraded to an xp motor, what do the specs then look like?
I am looking to buy an 8274 and the xp motor, but would like to know how much difference the xp motor would actually make?

I have hand painted beads and no probs what so ever

I have a 70mm lift and the gwyn lewis setup. Would I be best to buy 6 degree correction arms or settle with 3 degree. Would 6 degree give me a little more drop? Or just kill my front prop? It is off road only btw
TIA
